The project

The CulturalDeTour project aims to use design-driven innovation and sustainability integration to boost collaboration and entrepreneurship in the cultural tourism sector, and create a strong cross-sectoral and cross-national innovation network to improve economic resilience during the COVID-19 recovery phase. The project includes an online platform, innovative events, and a CDT Boost initiative to support cultural entrepreneurs in scaling up their activities and improving sustainability through an EU CulturalDeTour acceleration programme. The project seeks to provide support in key areas such as sustainability, digitalization, innovative business models, mentoring, and entrepreneurship skills. Partners will act as "thematic experts" through their intervention in live events, participation in the acceleration programme, and contribution of news, articles, and videos for communication purposes. The project foresees 6 live events and happenings to boost cross-sectoral collaboration and matchmaking.
